Financial Assistance

Every kid deserves the chance to play. Through our partnership with Their Opportunity, families who qualify can get help covering the cost of Junior Athletes programs.

How to apply

  1. 1

    Check if you qualify

To qualify for financial support, your family must be considered a low-income family. Their Opportunity uses the Low Income Measure (LIM), which looks at your household's after-tax income and household size.

  2. 2

    Choose your program

Pick the Junior Athletes program you're interested in. Keep the program details handy (program name, location, dates and price), because the application will ask for them.

  3. 3

    Create your Their Opportunity account

Before you can apply, you'll need to create a free account with Their Opportunity.

  4. 4

    Apply through Their Opportunity

Once your account is set up, the application will be on your portal home page. You'll be asked for some information, including proof of income: either your most recent Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) or your three most recent paystubs.

Hear it from the families

Excellent program, I highly recommend it to the parents. The coaches are very professional and make it very fun for the kids.
