How do I register?

Click the Register button on any of our program pages and it will take you to our registration portal, PlayRA. From there, you'll create an account, answer a few quick registration prompts, and complete the checkout process. Once you're done, you'll receive an email confirmation with your registration details.

Does my child need experience to join?

No experience is needed. Junior Athletes is designed for all skill levels, including children who are trying a sport for the very first time. Our coaches focus on helping each child learn, participate, and build confidence at their own pace.

Is Junior Athletes competitive?

No. Junior Athletes is a recreational program focused on skill development, teamwork, confidence, and fun. While children will play games and learn sport skills, the environment is positive, supportive, and low-pressure.

What will my child do during each session?

Each session includes a mix of warm-ups, skill-building activities, fun games, and small-sided play. Activities are designed to help children learn the fundamentals of the sport while staying active, engaged, and supported.

What are your class sizes and coach-to-child ratios?

Class sizes are typically between 12 and 20 children, depending on the program, age group, and location. Most programs have 2 to 3 coaches, allowing us to maintain approximately a 1:6 coach-to-child ratio. This helps our coaches keep sessions organized, safe, and supportive while giving each child the attention they need.

What should my child bring?

Children should wear comfortable athletic clothing and running shoes. Please bring a labelled water bottle. Most equipment is provided unless otherwise listed on the specific program page.

Can parents stay and watch?

Yes, parents are welcome to stay and watch. For Parent & Tot programs, a parent or guardian participates alongside their child.

Do you offer support for children who may need extra help?

Yes. Junior Athletes is designed to be inclusive and supportive. We offer limited 1:1 support spots in our programs for children who may benefit from a dedicated coach during the session.

Who is 1:1 support for?

1:1 support is designed for children who may need extra guidance, encouragement, redirection, or support during the program. This may include, but is not limited to, children on the autism spectrum, children with ADHD, anxiety, Down syndrome, or other support needs.

What happens after I register?

After registering through PlayRA, you will receive an email confirmation. Before the program begins, you may also receive additional program details such as location information, what to bring, and any important reminders.

What if a program is full?

If a program is full, you may be able to join a waitlist or explore another program by age, sport, location, or time. We recommend checking the available program options or contacting us if you need help finding the right fit.

What happens if there is bad weather?

For outdoor programs, weather decisions are made based on safety and facility conditions. If a session needs to be changed, delayed, or cancelled, families will be contacted with an update.
